Design and research

What was the task you were asked to complete?
The task we were set to complete was to make create sleeping animals of the
teachers choice at first and then we chose 2 to create our own from the list in
Illustrator.
teachers choice at first and then we chose 2 to create our own from the list in
Illustrator.
How successful were you at completing this task?
I was very successful by completing this task by having a good replica of the
owners actual work as it was nearly identical.
What skills did you have to use to complete this task?
The skills I used to complete the task was the use of curving shapes, used
pathfinder to merge objects, and the use of different shapes.
pathfinder to merge objects, and the use of different shapes.
In what ways were your skillset challenged during this project?
The part called pathfinder whilst trying to merge objects together.
How did you perform working independently?
Very well because I managed to get all of the shapes into one figure to create a
sleeping animal which looks nearly identical.

What aspect of the project did you enjoy the most?
The aspect I enjoyed the most was creating the shapes into an animal like figure
whilst its sleeping..
whilst its sleeping..
How could you apply the skills you learned in this project to future projects?
I can use these skills to then adapt them even more for higher editing skills for
then better quality pictures.

What benefit does vector image have over a faster image?
So the image does not pixelate.
What does saving an object as a symbol in illustrator allow you to do?
If you save the object as a symbol, your object wont distort.
What different ways do you have to manipulate the shape of an object in illustrator?
I used "direct selection" to manipulate certain objects for instance rounding the corners and sides to make the object more precise.
The differences between correlation and causation:
Correlation between variables, however, does not automatically mean that the change in one variable is the cause of the change in the values of the other variable.
Example: Correlation between ice cream sales and sunglasses sold.
As the sales of ice creams is increasing so do the sales of sunglasses.
Causation is when claiming one thing causes the other to happen
For example, there is a correlation between ice cream sales and the temperature, as you can see in the chart below .
